Micro Essential Laboratory, Inc., a leading manufacture of pH test papers sanitizer test papers, and pH buffer standards, is celebrating its 75th anniversary of being in business.
Founded in 1934 by Walter Florin, who was inspired to start the company when he was a member of Madison High School's microscope club, Micro Essential Labortory, Inc. is now one of the leading suppliers of educational, industrial, medical, and personal pH test products, providing custom manufactured pH paper for individual consumers as well as Fortune 500 companies, such as Eli Lilly & Co., 3M, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Proctor & Gamble.
The company's products are so highly regarded that its pHydrion pH test paper was used in a 1983 Space Shuttle mission in a battery of scientific tests. Custom calibrated color charts for each batch of test paper still ensure unsurpassed accuracy.
